Step 2: Once your application is reviewed and if approved Famiy&Aupair will set up a Skype interview to talk about your childcare experience, expectations for the program and the documents you need to send us in order to proceed with our aupair programme.
Step 3 : Complete your application with necessary paperwork :
Photocopy of your ID or Passport.
A Dear Host Family Letter , stating who you are, why you want to come to Spain, and what you expect from being an aupair in Spain, your hobbies, interests, experience with children, and any other special considerations (such as diet, etc.). Give as much detail as you can so that the host family reading your letter gets a sense of your personality and the kind of person you are. If you write it in Spanish, do not get help with it so the family does not think you know more Spanish than you do.
Child care reference letters including name, telephone and address of reference.
A photo of yourself (smiling!) and your family or a collage of you, your family and possibly any children you have cared for.
Aupair&Family agreement signed.
Photocopies of high-school diploma, and any degrees or other qualifications such as first aid, child care courses, foreign languages, sports…
Photocopy of international driving licence if required by the family.
Medical certificate or a letter written by the doctor that states you are mentally or physically in good health to travel to Spain and take care of kids. The doctor’s name and address is needed in the letter.
Police Check or Criminal Record Check (it is a “certificate of good conduct” or “lack of a criminal record” from your local police departament).
Step 4: The moment that your profile is complete, we will start looking for a host family. Once we have identified a family, you will receive information about them. You may then indicate whether you wish to be introduced to the family or not. Finding the right match is the key.
Step 5 : Skype interview with families that match with your criteria. It is essential that you and the host family contact through an online interview. Once the interview is complete, you and the host family will decide if the match is a good fit.
Step 6: The match is made! you will be notified of a family’s interest in hiring you. If both parties agree on one another, we will begin working with you to arrange your travel plans to Spain!
Step 7: The Aupair meets the Host Family, you will fly directly to your Host Family’s home and an exciting experience begins.
